Southwest Equipment is your one stop supplier of top quality, used and reconditioned bucket trucks, used and reconditioned digger derricks, pressure diggers, and boom trucks. Sales and rentals of utility equipment is our specialty.

The majority of our equipment comes from large Power Companies, Electric Companies, Electric Cooperatives, and manufacturer's lease returns, all of which have very good maintenance programs, giving us and our customers the assurance that the equipment has been well maintained. Once the bucket trucks and digger derricks have undergone a very thorough inspection for proper operations in our facility, any maintenance, service items, or repairs needed are corrected. At that time, the unit is detailed and made ready for sale.

We are extremely proud of our large world wide customer base of repeat and satisfied customers, which are a testament to the integrity of our company and the quality of our bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other equipment, which is second to none.

Recognizing the need for a real top quality utility equipment dealer, Southwest Equipment opened for business in early 1995 in Odessa, Texas. In 1999 a second location was opened for the Dallas area, a branch office was opened at 401 E. Hwy 121 in Lewisville, Texas. In 2001, the complete operation was moved from Odessa to the Lewisville location on Hwy 121. After outgrowing that facility, we then moved to our new location at 1706 N. Stemmons Freeway (I-35) in Lewisville in early 2006. Our president, Russ Bradshaw, has 14 years of hands on experience with bucket trucks, digger derricks, and utility equipment. His experience in power line construction came from his being a 50% owner in a Power line and Electrical construction company in West Texas from 1981 until he sold his interest in 1995.

We are conveniently located and easy to find at 1706 N. Stemmons Frwy. exit 454a on I-35E in Lewisville, Texas, close to both airports, Love Field which is served by Southwest Airlines, Continental, and others, and DFW Airport which served by American, Delta, Northwest, and most all other major airlines.
