The subtle human body is a series of psycho-spiritual constituents that gets driven by the forces of nature. Chakras are also used to denote the energy centres in the spinal region of the body and the mystic diagrams (yantras) which are used in ritual worship.

With different roles and powers, chakras have different significances. Ajna, also know as Agya, is the most sensual chakra that is responsible for the development of our wisdom and humanity and the chakra that helps us reach the bridge to Divine Consciousness.
Ajna is located at the upper end of the spinal column, at the point of transition from the spine to the brain. Its radiation is, however, primarily perceptible in the centre of the forehead between the eyebrows. Therefore, it is also known as the “Eyebrow Centre” or “Third Eye”.
