In the year 2001, AZAD Group signed a Technology Tie up agreement with Volvo-Sweden who is the World leader in Buses & Coaches. This association with Volvo, opened new avenues for Azad as it delivered more than 1500 Coaches and City Buses as per Volvo design and guidelines. Subsequently the Technology tie up had transformed into a Joint Venture in 2007 and by 2009 Azad disinvested from the JV for strategic reasons.

Tie up with Volvo not only gave Azad PAN India basis recognition but it also opened International Markets giving the Brand a Global presence. Moreover by adapting to the Volvo's manufacturing methods and discipline, Azad has raised the quality standards benchmark amongst the Bus industry in order to enjoy the continuous brand loyalty and hence a strong customer base.

Azad Group plants are located at Delhi - Jaipur & Bangalore, which are equipped with the latest technologies, infrastructure and skilled professionals for delivering high quality range of buses and transport solutions. Azad Team holds wide experience of working with leading OEMS like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motors, Volvo India, MAN India, Mahindra & Mahindra and others and at the same time also has its direct clientele consisting of leading Bus Tour Operators & Transporters, Schools and Colleges, State Transport undertakings, Hotels and other Institutes.

In order to have a competitive edge Azad has always invested in research and development, CAD based drawings, standardization, moulds & toolings, International standard designs ensuring higher product quality, safety, styling, durability and reliability for real customer satisfaction.
